Main Street. Selma, Alabama
Photographer: Walker Evans
The setting of this photograph is in the day in a rural city.
In this picture there is a sing that says, " Clothing Co. Fixings For Men"
There are a bunch of wagons in front of the store, there are also some magazines of newspapers on a rack. There are some people walking down the street. There are also many other buildings on the street.
the tone of the photograph is bad. it shows how the men have to work at clothing company's because there are no jobs for them. Men had to find any jobs they could get. Anything to make money so they could pay for their family.
why are there wagons in front of the store?
does this store only make male clothing?

Coca-Cola Shack in Alabama
Photographer: Walker Evans
The setting of this photograph is in a dilapidated town.
The litte shack has a bunch of signs on it but it looks run down.
i see a bucnh of tell chimney looking structures to the left of the shack. So maybe there might have been other posible buildings or homes there before. the shack looks run down because none of the doors are open and it seems like this area does't have a lot of visitors because of the way the land to the left looks run down.
there are structures to the left of the shack that look like chimneys. also, in the distance there are houses so it must be a town.
this photo has a negative aspect because the city looks run down
